Goal

Create the companion app project.

Acceptance criteria

  • companion/ Gradle project builds a debug APK
  • Kotlin, minSdk covering the target phone, modern AGP
  • Module structure matches the plan: pebble/, location/, sensors/, route/, map/, ride/
  • PebbleKit dependency declared
  • JVM unit test source set wired up and running

Update — 2026-08-31: minimum Android version

minSdk 31 (Android 12) (NFR-C2). This keeps the modern BLE permission model as the only one that
needs supporting. Also set up string resources with values/ and values-de/ from the start - see
the internationalisation issue.
